Nevada's Pony Express Territory is an open air museum of natural history and western Americana, where visitors may touch and play among the exhibits. The Territory spans North Central Nevada and the main highway is U.S 50, which was described some years ago by Life Magazine writer as "Loneliest Road in America". Visitors to the area can take a ride beginning on U.S Highway 50 in the west, and see what the Pony Express riders saw.
